The International Network of Social Clinics (INOSC) is set to publicly present its Manifesto of Social Clinics at Caracol Olol Jackson in Vicenza. This event underscores our network’s commitment to promoting alternative, community-driven healthcare models. The Manifesto calls for autonomous systems of care that prioritize human needs over profit, responding to urgent challenges like the privatization of healthcare, migration, and mental health crises.
The two-day event will bring together international healthcare activists, social clinic representatives, and community to discuss the future of healthcare. Participants will engage in thematic working groups, plenary sessions, and a final assembly, which will serve as a forum to consolidate insights and strategies for action. Among the key topics discussed will be access to mental health care, the dehumanizing effects of healthcare commodification, and the experiences of marginalized groups, particularly migrants.
The presentation will culminate in a collective commitment to social action, empowering local communities to reclaim healthcare as a basic right and necessity for all. INOSC invites activists, healthcare professionals, and the general public to participate in this groundbreaking event aimed at reshaping global healthcare systems toward equity and inclusivity.
