In what ways do your practices, values and politics align to what our Social Clinics do? In Veneto as in Italy, the privatization of the health care system leaves many people without access to care, especially those living in economic hardship or undocumented. Sometimes, even having a health card is not enough to receive care. Our clinic is not meant to replace the public system, but to offer an alternative that is accessible and resistant to discrimination.
We believe that spaces like this are crucial in neighborhoods to provide medical expertise, regardless of economic or social distinctions.
